Selecting a mounting system doesn’t have to be difficult, but it’s important to know what to take into account. The most important points to take into account are: how many panels do you want to install and where do you want to install them? On this page we give you a number of tips so you can choose the system that suits your particular situation best. 

The following points are important: 

• Project size – If you have to install a lot of panels, you will want to use techniques that save time and minimise the risk of installation errors. 
• Location – Wind load is an important factor to consider. In some areas, the wind can cause a wind pressure that is too high for a particular system. 
• Panel size – Large panels need more support to resist flexing. Larger panels also require a greater clamping force to fix them to the mounting system.
